• Xavier and Amber sat in silence in the private jet as they prepared for departure, until the pilot's voice buzzed over the intercom, interrupting the tense atmosphere.
• “Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome aboard. We'll be departing shortly. Please fasten your seat belts and prepare for takeoff.”
• Amber's eyes searched the cabin, her eyes narrowing as she realized Parker was nowhere to be seen. “Where's Parker?” she spoke to Xavier for the first time since their last argument, “I thought he was joining us on this trip.”
