Chapter 79 Seventy Nine
- ARIEL’S POV
- It had been four days. Four long, grinding days since that night, and the silence was starting to poison me. Ryan was still angry — every look, every half-finished sentence carried that simmering weight. But I was angry too, angrier than I wanted to admit. That he’d pulled such a brutal stunt on me, humiliating me while Bryan listened, treating me like property in heat… it made me sick to my stomach even if my wolf had purred for it.
- We owed each other an apology. That much was clear. But the thought of it made my chest clench. Made my wolf bristle. Because I was the one bleeding out, picking up pieces of myself, and he hadn’t even tried to fix it. That stung more than any knife.
