Chapter 29 Twenty Nine

• RYAN'S POV
• The door slammed open and shut with enough force that had me questioning who it was that had stormed uninvited into my house, but then her familiar scent struck, my wolf purring in delight.
• I wheeled towards the seating room, only to stop to a halt at the sound of a shattered sob breaking through the air. Silence had followed, only for another sob to follow. I didn’t like this one bit. I clenched my fist as I rose to my feet, taking cautious steps so as not to startle her.
