- She looked better, talked better and walked better this morning, and it did ruffle my fur. I'd opted to run for a while, seeing how distressed I was. I'd missed the feeling of shifting, and running for whatever feels like miles and miles. I wanted the wind in my face, but then it would only mean I was somehow trapped away from Ariel, and that was a risk I wasn’t willing to take.
- She’d been over and under for the past six months. I'd figured it had something to do with her mother. She hasn’t responded to that text I sent. She didn’t beg for an extension for a loan, neither did she take a new one.
