• Adrian was at home with me for about two weeks without going to work. His few days' leave had turned into weeks and I could see that the poison was already having its effect.
• I got a little bit worried as I expected that Maxwell would ask me to take a break or stop adding the poison to his meal, but that wasn’t the case. He encouraged me to continue instead, saying he would let me know when to stop and that his plans had not yet materialized.
