• As I looked at Serena, I knew she was already thinking the worst. She was blaming herself for the situation, and I could see the guilt on her face. I knew I had to reassure her, to make her see that this wasn't entirely her fault but she needed to do her part, which was being more security cautious.
• "I'm sorry, Adrian," she said again quietly, her voice barely above a whisper. I could hear the regret in her voice, and it tore at my heart.
