Chapter 179 Two Years Later

• Serena's POV:
• I received a letter from Laura which I never replied. Knowing she was trying to do something meaningful with her life was good. But I was doing just fine with Adrian, my dad, and my son around me.
• I missed our friendship, but her betrayal made me suspicious of everyone who came close to me. It was difficult to open up to new friends, but maybe with time, all that would go away. I had made my mistakes too which I wasn't proud of, but with all I know now, I would never be a victim of blackmail again or make foolish decisions out of fear again.
