• Things seemed to get tougher for me after a little while, I had used up the little savings I had with the hope of finding a job soon, but things didn’t work in my favour. I stayed hopeful anyway, although the weeks were running into months faster than I imagined, and I couldn’t help but think of how to continue paying my rent effortlessly.
• My aunt supported me as much as she could, but she too had other expenses, including that of her family to cater to, so I didn’t feel comfortable calling her for money, except she offered to send me some. Some days I think about my life, wondering if my wrong deeds are catching up with me, other days I manage to stay hopeful and positive.
