Chapter 74
- Dragging his eyes away from her, Marcos walked in and although the place was filled to the brim and silent, it got even more silent when he walked in and Marcos felt chills travel up his spine. His eyes searched around for Ketura, and she was already seated, glaring at the people like they were nothing. Thinning his lips, Marcos walked over to her and instead of taking a seat, he stood.
- “Good day everyone,” he paused but no response came and he balled his hands into fists, “I am very sure that it must be hard for you all adjusting to the new administration, it has not been easy for us either, but we have to make the most out of what we have. Your former alpha, luna, and the rest of the leadership have all been arrested for breaking rules of conduct and keeping a secret from the council for so long…”
- “In layman terms,” Ketura cut in and stood up, “your identities have been revealed, and your only shot at survival is keeping mute and sticking to our leading no matter what reservation or opinion you may have about us.”
