• “We are going to head home first,” Devon announced as they both settled in the car, and Kiara had nodded in gratitude. When Kali reminded her of the Salutis temple, she didn’t hesitate to buy the idea. Their quickest option was just to beg Ketura, she could easily reverse the spell there, but there was no proof that she would not do something else,
• “How did the Salutis temple come to mind? No one has been there in ages.” Devon asked when they were out of Marcos’ pack, and Kiara shrugged.
• When Ketura had told them to get on their knees and beg, an unusual image of her parents at the Salutis pack flashed in Kiara’s mind. For a moment, she almost sank into confusion as she had no memory of ever going to that temple with her parents. They had never mentioned it to her, but right before she could sink into the pit of her confusion, Kali instantly reminded her that she could get her scent back at that temple.
