Chapter 55

• Kiara woke up with a gasp, drenched in her own sweat, her skin prickled and she guessed it was from the dream - although nightmare was a more befitting term – she just had.
• She saw her parents at a temple, undoubtedly the Salutis temple, and a man, too pale to be human had his hands around their necks and he didn’t let go till they dropped on the ground, limp and lifeless, looking the same way they did when she discovered their corpses months ago.
• The prickling on her skin doubled as she recalled the dream; it felt like her skin was smeared in hot Chilli, and instantly, she removed the duvet from her body and jumped off from the bed, thinking that the duvet was the source of her problem, but despite the coolness of the room, her skin still burned.
