• Kiara was served dinner not too long after Gwen left, and if not for the pain the hunger subjected her stomach to, she would have left the food.
• Once she had taken a bit of the food, she showered and retreated to bed. She packed the books onto her bedside table, and she was about to force herself back to sleep, but after minutes of turning and tossing, she sat back up and picked up one of the books.
• It was a history book; The History of Akira Pack, she rolled her eyes at how obvious the title was, and she was about to get comfy and dive into the book, then she recalled Gwen’s words and her eyes narrowed.
