Chapter 37

• Kiara woke up with a big headache and annoyance bubbling in the pit of her stomach. The sexual frustration, and anger she felt towards Kali didn't pass away with the night, it followed her into the morning and it weighed heavy on her chest.
• She carried out her morning routine begrudgingly, and to make matters worse, Kali was yet to say a word to her and despite her annoyance, a part of her was worried that she had disappeared yet again. So despite her resolve to not speak to her, she called out Kali’s name, her voice thick and heavy with fear.
• “I am here,” Kali said, and Kiara exhaled through her mouth, loudly.
