• Once the crowd dispersed, Devon pulled Kiara to himself and placed a chaste kiss on her forehead. He saw her when she walked in, he saw the stressed lines on her face, his wolf felt her wolf’s bitterness and he did not need a soothsayer to tell him that she was probably blaming herself.
• “This is just a temporary problem, and we are going to figure it out, okay?”
