Chapter 45 Intertwined

• Brody was glad that he went to the restaurant with his driver. Once he sent the guy back to his office, he stepped into Hendry's car. They sat in the back seat with Hendry's driver in the front, the face was unfamiliar but Brody couldn't care less.
• He heard Hendry tell his driver to take them to the hotel before he pulled up the divider between them as if they were about to have a very important business discussion.
• "He's one of the security new guys," Hendry told Brody like he could hear his thoughts. But he just nodded and took his hand and kissed his knuckles. His other hand tilted his jaw to face him and leaned in to kiss his best friend. His lips were pliant under his, and Hendry let out a soft needy breath when Brody told him that he loved him and that he was sorry about what had happened to him in the past.
