Chapter 43 Out With It

• "What did your mom say?" Hendry asked when Sloan told him that he called her earlier that afternoon.
• "She said not to worry and that she was fine. She was keeping herself busy. And she told me to let you take care of me." Hendry chuckled when Sloan visibly rolled his eyes. Apparently, his boyfriend didn't like to be told what to do by his mom. Which was adorably cute Hendry thought.
• Sloan had lied to his mother, telling her that he got mugged and Hendry had been taking care of him. He also told her that he would be coming home the next day. Hendry was reluctant to let him go back to stay at his mom's. He wished that Sloan would go back to his afterward.
