Chapter 28 Reconnect

• "Okay we're ten minutes early," Sloan watched as Hendry looked at his Breitling watch only to be pleasantly surprised to see Brody was already seated on the table. "And looks like we're not the only one." He heard him say, Sloan could feel Hendry's hand on the small of his back as if he could feel the tension building inside him. Sloan relaxed a bit when he caressed him. "Come on, we're here, he saw us. Smile, Sloan...you're my boyfriend." Sloan heard him say as he leaned in closer, pressing his lips on Sloan's ear.
• He let Hendry talk when one of the restaurant staff ushered them to their table. Sloan followed behind him and watched as Hendry smiled at Brody who then got up from his seat and hugged him like nothing had happened between them. Sloan relaxed a bit seeing that Brody was instantly back in the friend zone with his boyfriend. Maybe it was the years they have as best friends, Sloan didn't give a care, what mattered the most was that they were back as friends.
• "How are you? I heard that you were hospitalized?" Brody asked. His face showed his concerns while his eyes catch how Hendry actually pulled a chair for Sloan, then letting him take the seat before he settled in his chair beside him.
