Chapter 29 Revelation

• "Everything is going to be okay," Callie whispered rubbing Sloan's arm when she saw that he hesitated. Though deep down she knew that they were deep in a tangled mess. She remembered Sloan and she needed him to keep calm while she figures things out. She found him. She finally freaking found him! Sloan. After all this time she finally has a name for her mystery man. Her cousin would freak out if she knew.
• The sweet handsome man looked even more handsome with years between them. His jaw was more chiseled, his body looked stronger, and even his stance looked more confident. She was glad that after all those years he managed to free himself from his abusive ex. That night Callie felt for him. When they talked, it was all it took for him to pour out his frustration about his ex while Callie listened.
• "Callie, what's happening here?" Brody asked once both of them sat back in their chairs. Her eyes were still on Sloan who looked like he was one step away from bolting out of the restaurant. She was glad that at least their dinner had arrived and the waiter won't distract them anytime soon.
