Chapter 22 Fallen

• Alcohol poisoning, the doctor said Hendry will recover but he needs to stay for an observation. Sloan was glad that last year Hendry had put him as his emergency contact. At that time Hendry joked that his parents were going to be too busy and that it was easier just to put Sloan's name on it.
• Sloan had spent the night by his hospital bed looking at the handsome man before him. His boss. The one person he'd managed to fall for and the guy almost killed himself for another man. Sloan was so screwed.
• When he found Hendry on his bathroom floor, he looked pale and was shivering. Hendry's hand was a bloody mess and he reeked of alcohol. Sloan was quick to call for an ambulance. Then, he spent hours panicking while he waited. His mom came to his rescue, she held him and comforted him. She even came back in the morning with Sloan's work clothes when he needed to go to the office. She stayed with Hendry assuring her son that Hendry was not going to wake up alone.
