Chapter 36 Fragile

• When morning came and Henry still hadn't heard anything from Sloan, his mind was thinking the worst. Had Sloan ditched him and broken up with him? However when Hendry reached his office floor, he felt a bit better thinking that he would see Sloan, pull him into his office and apologize, or maybe seduce the guy until he came to his senses.
• But he was surprised when he saw the usual PA that usually filled in for Sloan was typing on his computer. She would sit on Sloan's desk whenever he was taking a leave of absence.
• "Good morning, Mr. Camden. Sloan had asked me to fill in for him for the next few days. He had a personal emergency he had to attend to. But he had put me up to speed with your schedule and I already put everything on your desk. Your Calendar for the whole week is ready for you to look at." The cheerful young woman who Hendry never seemed to remember her name was showing him her pearly whites and he nodded and told her that he asked not to be disturbed for the next hour.
