Chapter 26 Love

• Hendry didn't expect to blurt out his feelings for Sloan. Yes, it was overwhelming for him to say that he loves his assistant. But in a way he did. He felt the warm nagging feeling since the day he had dinner with Sloan's family. It was amazing to be easily out with the whole family. He had never experienced such freedom, and he was embracing it.
• Everything falls into place when both Sloan and his mom actually take care of him when he had alcohol poisoning, that was a first. He knew he drank too much, too fast, but he didn't think that he would get alcohol poisoning. He was ashamed at that and he felt like an ass for giving them the hassle of taking care of him, though Hendry secretly liked the attention.
• "Hey, where did you go just now?" He smiled as Sloan asked, snuggling and resting his hand on his chest. Sloan took a deep breath before leaning to rest his cheek on the pillow, inching closer to his side.
