Chapter 39 Relaxing

• "What's happening?" Brody heard Callie ask the second he stepped into the dining room. He was pleased to see that his fiance had moved to Sloan's side, trying to calm him down. Not that it was working, but it was the thought that counts.
• "Holden is saying some shitty stuff with his parents. Now, Hendry is going there." Brody could see that Sloan was instantly pale and he swiftly sat on Sloan's other side, putting his hand on his shoulder. "Everything is going to be okay, I offered to go with him but he declined. Though I'd trust your boyfriend on this. He knows his family the most, me being there might do more harm than good. Come one, finish your dinner then we can cuddle and wait until he gets back."
• It took us a couple of minutes to convince Sloan to finish his meal. When he was done, he took his pills and I helped him to change into his pajamas even though he insisted that he could do it himself. "Let us take care of you, okay? We know you're better, but we want to spoil you." Sloan smiled at Brody and Callie excused herself to take a shower.
