Chapter 22

• Alex catches up with me the next morning. I cancelled my Science lesson with him and continued my assignment without his company. I realized that I had a thing for him. I didn’t need to be around him more often. As it was, I kept thinking of the way his voice made me feel when he flipped me around in our P.T lessons.
• “Ky, are you avoiding me?” he doesn’t beat around the bush.
• “No,” I say. Alex tries to keep up with my pace as I race to my Psych session.
