Chapter 25

• When we get back to the cabin, Alex turns on me. “What was that? We stick to the plan! That’s what we said!” he runs both hands through his hair and crouches on his heels. The mysterious woman looks at me from the couch she’d chosen to plop onto when we arrived.
• “We had a mission, there was nothing we could do about Heather but I saw the opportunity to complete the mission,” I am sitting at the kitchen nook.
• “I know you don’t like your sister but -”
