• Amy leans against the wall across from me and slides down to sit. The laughter has awkwardly died down.
• “I know you hate me and everything, but I didn’t really deserve to be punished the way you punished me you know?” I start. Might as well get this over and done. As funny as Nurse Abbot is, I think she was serious about us working out our issues.
• “I suppose,” she admitted. “I don’t really do well with emotions’n stuff,” she waves her hand and looks away. I think it’s the first time that I feel like someone actually gets me.
