- I woke up the next morning beside a body that felt like ice. If I wasn’t already used to Riven’s alarming body temperature, I may have feared that my bad sleeping habits killed him while we slept.
- From the layout of the room, I knew I wasn’t in the main building so I had to go home before my mother came to do her morning check-up on me. I just knew that if she went to my room and I wasn’t there, she’d freak out so I tried my best to move without waking the man beside me.
