• On the third and final day of the feast, I wore the necklace Riven gifted me as I said I would. The ladies who helped me dress couldn’t stop staring at it but they never interacted with me outside of their work so they didn’t say anything. It made me feel self-conscious but I held my head up as I had learnt to do.
• Hazel was waiting outside my door as she had been doing since yesterday. She was hellbent on getting along with me so she was by my side more often than not. As soon as I came out of my room, her eyes fell on the jewelry on my neck and her mouth fell open.
