Chapter 59

• NATALIE’S P. O. V
• I squirmed on the bed and tightened my eyes from the effect of the morning sun on my face. I didn’t even know how I slept or how I got to the bed the night before but there I was lying still and trying to catch my vision. But I definitely didn’t forget what happened at night. I opened my eyes slowly and turned around, of course I was alone in the room. I don’t know but I was kind of expecting to see Maverick. Maybe besides me or somewhere close. I noticed a food pack on the bedside drawer when I turned and a cup of copy. There was a note attached to it too. I sighed, stretched my body and smiled to myself. I slowly sat up from the bed and stretched my hand toward the coffee and the note. The note said:
• “Drink this, I’ll be right back, don’t run away”
