• NATALIE'S P.O.V:
• As I walked into the elevator I couldn't help but think about Maverick, did he really call off the wedding, if yes why didn't he tell me on the call? He just hung up on me. And the woman that called me earlier, who was she, and what connections did she have with Maverick? Even though I wanted the answers to my questions I couldn't help but remind myself that I didn't have any business knowing about Maverick's personal life. I was only being entangled with him. Tsk!
• I sighed, and pressed the elevator button to the highest floor, and leaned back on the railing as the elevator climbed up the levels.
