• NATALIE’S P.O.V
• “MAKE SURE TO CALL ME WHEN YOU GET TO FLORENCE, I WANT TO KNOW ALL ABOUT YOUR HONEYMOON” I read the message that Abby sent to me over and over. Honeymoon my foot. I still didn’t know why Maverick was taking me with him. I thought he said it was a business trip? Well, there I was sitting next to him in a plane heading to Florence. I should have seriously declined except he didn’t sound or look like he was giving me a chance to decline or options to pick from. After a while, I started to play Candy Crush with my phone. At least thank God I had the game available. And about the other night, I prayed that it never should happen again. It was so annoying how I wanted more of everything he was doing to me. That moment it felt just right to want more but thinking about it on the plane, I hated myself for wanting anything more from him. I didn’t speak to him yet because I couldn’t look him in the face.
• Abby also gave me updates on her life. She said she was doing so great and she wished I was there with her. She said she had a new boyfriend and his name was Sweden–a very crappy and funny name for a human. So I thought. I mean who still name their children after a fucking country? Well, I guess people do. She sent me the picture of the guy; he looked like he was going to shit in his pants from the expression on his face. That made me laugh. Abby had the worst choice of men, except she didn’t care any bit about that especially if the dude was paying the bills. I sighed and continued my game. I still hadn’t heard from Taylor. I wondered what was happening as to why he hadn’t responded to me.
