Chapter 31

• Leo's POV
• Clark came to my room, letting me know the guys were ready for training. It felt like the weight of the world was on my shoulders as I made my way out. Normally, Master was the one who trained the men, but with both of us being away, Clark had taken over.
• When I arrived, I knew right away it wasn’t enough. The men were trying—they really were—but their movements were sloppy, their reflexes slow. If one of those things attacked while I was gone, they wouldn’t stand a chance. My chest tightened with frustration and anger.
