Chapter 21
- Andrea POV
- I ran as fast as I could, Emma’s limp body bouncing on my shoulder like a sack of potatoes. My chest felt like it was about to explode, but I didn’t stop. Couldn’t stop. Every crunch of leaves or snap of a twig behind me sent a jolt of fear through my veins. I had to keep going. I had to save her.
- She didn’t deserve this. I’ve done so much to her—hurt her in ways I’ll never be able to take back. If I could go back and erase all of it, I would. But I can’t. And every single day, I regret it. That’s why today, I’m going to make things right. I’ll tell her the truth, confess everything, and beg her to forgive me.
