Chapter 26
- Leo's POV
- The cold, damp dungeon reeked of blood, mold, and death—my death, if they had their way. I was chained to the ground with so many iron links it felt like they were trying to keep a mountain in place. It had been a week. A goddamn week of no food, no water—just pain.
- I laughed bitterly, the sound echoing off the stone walls. Not because I found anything funny, but because of how ridiculous my life had become. One week ago, I was untouchable—a king. Now? I’m nothing but a caged animal, chained and starved. My laughter turned dark as I thought about Master.
