• Dr. Robert was speaking with Howard, whose worry was palpable. I could see the way Howard’s hands trembled slightly as he gripped the edge of his grandfather's bed, concern etched deeply into his features. Unlike his mother, Karla, and his sister, Anastasia, who were here more for appearances than genuine concern, Howard was genuinely invested in his grandfather's recovery.
• Dr. Robert’s voice was calm but serious as he addressed Howard. “This heart attack was serious, and if we’re not careful, another one could be fatal,” he explained, his tone brokering no nonsense. “Mr. Carter needs constant care and monitoring.”
• I watched Howard’s expression shift from fear to determination. He loved his grandfather dearly; I didn’t need to look at Howard to know how deeply this affected him. Instead, I pulled out my notepad, ready to jot down the medications that would be essential for Mr. Carter’s recovery. I was fully aware of the protocol, and I didn’t need Dr. Robert’s guidance to know what was necessary.
