• Charlotte walked into Dr. Robert’s office, where he looked up and greeted her. “Charlotte, good thing you’re here. I was just about to call you. I need your help with some patients. Normally, they’re Dr. Carmen’s patients, but he’s away for a few days on some personal business.”
• Charlotte replied quietly, “Dr. Robert, I need to get home early today.”
• Dr. Robert lifted his eyes from the patient reports and looked at her curiously. “You need to get home early? Why’s that?”
