Chapter 21

• “It looks like it’s going to rain. I should’ve brought my umbrella,” I thought while standing at the bus stop. I’d been waiting for about fifteen minutes and hoped the bus would come before the rain started.
• I still felt a little sad about selling my bike, but at least I was happy that I could help my brother when he needed it. If only I had helped Brian like this in my previous life, maybe he would have stayed by my side. Still, I was glad I could do the right thing this time.
• Just then, I saw my bus approaching. "Good thing I left home on time today," I thought with relief. When the bus stopped, I noticed most of the seats were already taken except for the last one in the back, so I went and sat there.
