Chapter 6 Behind The Reason
- The threat was terrifying to Shopia. She had no desire to be suffocated by the dreadful atmosphere of a boarding school. Worse, if she were sent away, she would be even more distanced from the only parent she had left. Her mother had died when she was born, leaving her to rely solely on her father’s affection.
- “I don’t want to, Daddy.” Shopia shook her head, kneeling in desperation. “I promise I won’t bother or trouble anyone again.”
