- The patient’s clothes had been swapped for the standard sterile green scrubs. Elvis—the patient in question—stretched out on the hospital bed. He pulled the white blanket from the foot of the bed up to cover his body down to his waist.
- His eyes locked onto the plain white ceiling of the room. The man was lost in thought about something that had been nagging at him since last night. He didn’t even notice when his parents arrived, or the two nurses who returned to check his blood pressure.
