• Edeline’s nervous voice made her surprise clear. She stood half-panicked, not sure how to face Simon. She remembered exactly who he was—not some ordinary man, but a high-ranking executive. More importantly, he was someone significant in Elvis’s life. His presence here meant it was inevitable he would meet Elvis, which made everything far more dangerous.
