Chapter 42 Stealing Attention

• At three in the morning, Elvis still couldn’t close his eyes. His mind tangled in restless thoughts. He kept thinking about Edeline after uncovering the hidden truth. Elvis was frustrated and full of guilt over Edeline. His soul continued to berate himself for being cruel, hurting Edeline from every angle.
• However, Elvis was confused about how to make amends. There was still a bit of pride that made it hard for him to admit his guilt. He roughly rubbed his handsome face. He felt restless sitting on the long, soft sofa he used as a bed. On impulse, Elvis decided to step outside for some fresh air.

Something struck his mind as he hesitated about where to go. His gaze drifted toward the Emergency Room. An urge pushed Elvis to go there.
