Chapter 300
- Irene’s POV
- The rain had decided to bless us for a moment early this morning. The ground was just slightly wet, but the air had a nice cold touch to it. Feels like the moon goddess just blessed the day for my babies. I remember the day I birthed them seven years ago, all by myself and scared to death because I was all alone. But the minute I saw their faces with their ear-piercing tears reached my ears. I just knew I wanted to live the rest of my life for them.
- I pawed through the narrow path of the woods that leads out to the mountains. I wanted to spend some time by myself this morning before the party started. Also, I had this nightmare that felt so real, it scared me to the bone. I had woken up panting heavily. I saw those eyes again and this time, it felt like they belonged to me. I hate the mystery behind this so much. I wish there were someone who knew the truth or understood it better to tell me what these feelings might be.
