• Irene’s POV
• It has been quiet around here. Everything seems back to normal. With Aunt Teresa being here, there is a certain kind of peace that I cannot pinpoint. She engages the children while I am in meetings and I do not have to worry about how they might be doing. They also seem most excited to have their grandma around.
• Myself and I am seated in the meeting hall just relaxing. It’s been a while since we just sat down and had random discussions. I feel bad for putting them in this position. And I am most grateful for their support. Karson keeps throwing side glances my way. We still haven’t spoken since that night. Genuinely I do not know what to say to him even if he requests us to talk again. There are just too many complications with our relationship and I have reached my peak with it. Only for the sake of the children am I trying to consider him.
