• Lexie paced the cabin aimlessly while biting down on my nails. Something felt amiss but she couldn’t seem to place her finger on it. The kidnapping of Irene’s pack members was meant to spark enough reaction from her camp to pull them into the trap she had set with the allied packs to destroy them for good. But strangely, there has been no reaction whatsoever.
• She had been certain that Irene and Karson wouldn’t sit still. But now she seems to have failed to conquer them as expected. Another failure that Marcus and Liam have warned her about can’t be afforded anymore. It is why she is hiding outside the Blood Moon pack in an abandoned cabin, still hoping that her spy will get across to her soon. Once she lays her hand on the dark hollow’s new defense plan, that will be their end. The last fight that happened, she was certain the defense plan they got would help them raze down the dark hollow camp. But to their surprise, the defense was far different from what they had prepared for.
• That had caused extreme damage to the Blood Moon’s allied packs camp. Half of their warriors are down with wounds. Safe to say any attack on the conjoined packs now will be total destruction. That was why setting a trap was important. The Alphas have gone ahead to tell her not to show her face unless there is something worth sharing.
