• Irene’s POV
• There is something about going on a run in one’s wolf form. You get to feel the air differently and whatever burden you might have been carrying before then would be all gone. I had woken up a bit restless because I hadn't gotten enough sleep. But with this run, I can rest a little before going on patrol. I headed back to camp feeling energized.
• “Did you hear about what was said of the princess?” I heard someone say as I walked past the tents heading to mine. About four guards gathered next to a tent talking. I didn’t think it was right for me to eavesdrop, but the next statement kept me stuck to the spot.
