• For the second time in a row, I sat stiffly in a chair feeling anxious and doubtful if I wanted to be here. I still haven’t fully recovered from the meeting I just had. But it had to be done. After meeting with the enemy packs to sign a treaty, we finally secured the freedom of our pack members. For the first time in days, I found relief. When we returned to the pack, a message from the Alpha’s council had arrived, and we were given the go-ahead to order the deserved punishment for Lexie once we had signed the treaty.
