• Irene’s POV
• My wolf thumped through the woods, and the crunching sound of the dry leaves filled the air. I haven’t stretched in a long while. I jumped over fallen trees and ran through the slope with reckless abandon. I didn’t want to be cautious in any way until I had exerted myself enough. When I eventually came to a pause almost out of breath. I howled in frustration. The forest awakened in response.
• These couple of days have been tormenting for me. It’s only been two days since that traitor Ethan ran off, but everything seems apart. The whole camp has finally heard about the kidnapping of their fellow pack members and now they demand to know how we intend to rescue them. When they learned that Ethan might be the only one to guide us to the main culprit and he got to escape, it became a rowdy scene. A search party has gone out to find him, no news yet.
