• "Hero," I began, letting out a long breath. "If my father discovers he's the grandfather of the king's child, he'll do everything in his power to get rid of me. He'll see me as a threat, a reminder of his past. He'll raise that child to be just like him, a ruthless king who cares for nothing but power.”
