• My heart nearly stopped. I was so scared, I almost couldn't move. But I knew I had to do something. I tried to slam the door shut. I tried with all my might. He was fast, though. He moved like a shadow, right towards me. The woman beside him, the one with the skimpy outfit, just stepped aside. She had this really annoying smile on her face, like she was winning some kind of game.
• I almost got the door closed. I was so close. But then, his big, heavy boot stopped it. He put his foot right in the way, so the door couldn't lock.
