• The mountain air was far behind us now, replaced by the familiar breeze of the world outside the mountain. We'd said goodbye to Paxton and his mate and the witches too, it was a bittersweet moment. Now, I sat across from one of my best friends, Alpha Norton. We were all gathered in the living room of his pack house.
