• “In your office,” I say, gesturing at the shut door of his office. “Please.”
• He starts walking again towards me. It’s like a bare wall on his face, but I can sense traces of anger. Someone upset him before coming down here. Alina? Jeremy? Or something at the hospital? I saw them from my window when he drove his new family in. The little boy looks okay, Alina seemed happy too. So, maybe it’s something else. I hope it isn’t anything about me.
